What We Do in the Archives – From Mull Museum and What We Do in the Winter

I’m delighted to say that I’ve been collaborating with Mull Museum on a special project to release archive recordings from the communities of Mull, Iona, Ulva, Gometra and Erraid.
The project is called What We Do in the Archives and can be found on the WWDitW Soundcloud page and here on the WWDitW website.

Among the archive materials are hours of recordings from Donald MacLean (Donald Langamull), who recorded conversations and public talks in the 1970’s and 80’s. There are other recordings from family archives and stand alone cassettes and reels that have been handed in to us.

If you have any archive recordings that you’d like to be encoded and included in the project, please do drop me a line on whatwedointhewinter@gmail.com

Thank you to everyone who has brought these recordings to the museum archive and for granting us permission to share them.
