Today we’ve got the pleasure of realeasing three archive recordings for you, from the collection of Donald Langamull.
Each of them captures a different slice of life on our islands at a diverse range of times.
Hilda and Dr Flora’s tracks were recorded as presentations for the Mull Historical and Archaeological society whereas Johnny MacDonald Kilfinichen’s took place in a more intimate setting.
A couple of the recordings just stop mid flow, as that’s where the tapes ran out. If anyone has more complete recordings of the talks and would be happy to share them with us, we’d love to speak to you.
These recordings are released in partnership with Mull Museum in Tobermory.
