WWDitW Now Available on YouTube

What We Do in the Winter is now available on YouTube.
You can catch all the old episodes and new ones as they emerge over the coming months on YouTube alongside other podcast providers.
I’ve been wanting to put the podcasts up on YouTube for a long time, but had never managed to get around to it as I felt like each episode should have an individually designed title card.
YouTube has kindly solved that for me by automatically syncing up with the podcast feed.

I don’t think I’ll ever go down the video podcasting route with WWDitW as it’s a very intimate thing.
A camera can make people feel like they have to perform, whereas the presence of small mics and sound recorder can sort of be ignored.

I do have a couple of live episodes that I should release, too. One or two are from video conferencing sessions around themes, another is from a lovely evening at Iona Village Hall.
There is a slight issue with one of the online sessions in that as I pressed record on the computer I also pressed play on the music app and the whole of Kate Bush’s the Sensual World plays over what all was said.
I think I have a back up one where Kate didn’t join us, but I’ll have to dig around and see what I can find.
