49 – Sheena Walker

This episode is a conversation with Sheena Walker.
Brought up in Dervaig, Sheena talks about the lives of her Mother and Father, her various jobs on the island, the social scene of her youth and so much more.

Due to the current lockdown situation we recorded our chat over the internet.

These days, whilst working in Edinburgh at the Royal Scottish Academy on the mound, where she’s in charge of private views, visits to artist’s studios and runs the RSA friends, Sheena keeps her home in Tobermory.

I hope this chat gives you an hour away from the world.

If you’re on Mull, Iona, Ulva or Gometra and are listening to this before midnight on Sunday 24th you may be interested in our Islands in Film project, more information about which can be found here.

Thanks for listening!
